Central Parklands News Update
Update 18 January 2021
Central Parklands Recreational Centre
The Recreation Centre has been reopened following the easing of restrictions from 6pm 11 January 2021. Face masks need to be worn inside the building but are not required outdoors as long as social distancing is being maintained. Please continue to follow hygiene protocols. These restrictions will remain in place until 1am 22 January 2021.
All Recreational Centre facilities are available with some risk controls in place. To protect our community, communal crockery and cutlery will continue to be unavailable for use until all restrictions have been lifted.
Residents are requested to follow directions on displayed signage and the continuing conditions as set by the Queensland Government.
Additional security cameras and fire safety improvements for the access gates will be installed in the next month.
A sustainable landscaping plan is being developed in 2021 to ensure our gardens remain beautiful while being appropriate for our climate.
Residents should contact the committee to report any fencing falling under body corporate responsibility requiring repair or replacement.
The 2021 AGM has been scheduled for 10 February 2021 at 5:30pm.
Community Recommended Service Providers
Maintenance and repair is an ongoing requirement for any home and finding quality, reliable service providers can be difficult. To assist with this we are creating a directory of service providers recommended by the Central Parklands community. We need your help to build this list, so are requesting recommendations.
